Matrix

Matri-X has been designed as a modular system made up of a range of single units which can be combined to produce an endless variety of shelving, which can be completed with shelves, side panels, back panels, doors and drawers. The supporting structure is made from cold-rolled square steel sections, 20x20mm, chrome-plated or painted white or grey, already dissected in the modular lengths to create an endless range of combinations in width, depth and height.

The sections are linked to each other by a non-ferrous alloy joint (zama), with a polished chrome finish. The distinguishing feature of this system is the easy assembly method and its exceptional strength, without the use of screws and bolts. By using the various size modules, a very wide range of compositions is possible in height, width and depth, creating corner units, crossed units and T-units too. This is an extremely flexible and smart product and ideal for any use: from the home to the office, the library and the archives, for point of sale displays..

To complete the structure sheet steel back panels (macro-drilled version available too) and side panels are available, already bent to size to make the structure more rigid. They are pressure fixed using a special system that fits into the holes in the zama joints. There are ten different colours available for these complementary components too.

Sheet steel shelves:

Made from sheet steel, cold-rolled and ribbed by pressure-bending to give excellent strength, paint coating. 10 colours are available and various sizes to fit in with the entire modular system. Special supporting brackets are fitted inside the square tubular section in the main structure.

There are two types of glass shelf available. The first version is 1 cm thick tempered transparent glass, polished edge and bevelled corners. The second version is the same as above but with etched rather than transparent glass. The glass shelves are also available in various sizes to fit inside the structure, supported by special brackets fitted inside the square tubular section frame.

The system can be even further completed by adding doors and drawers in the various sizes and colours. There are two types of drawer available: single H.17,2 and large H.36,4, both available in three widths and two depths. The drawers have a sheet steel structure, shaped for the structural part and box type for the fronts. All the drawers have a polished chrome handle. The doors are in cold-rolled sheet steel, pressure-bent ribbing and box type, paint coated. The doors have a polished chrome handle.
